What’s good people… It’s been a while since we have kept you posted as to the movements of Illegal Musik… So, I’ll try to keep this brief..
In the last month we have released 3 new video’s
Erakah – ‘Wonderful’
(Directed & Produced by Ivan Slavov)
Shout out to all those behind the scenes that helped us pull this one off… Check out the link and if ya feel’n this one – FREETEXT ‘ERAKAH’ to 5483 and cop ‘WONDERFUL’. Request it on ya favourite station and on da telly…
J.Williams feat Erakah & Tyree – ‘Your Style’ remix
(Directed & Produced by Ivan and Polly)
This was one killer day – half of the label were in Fiji for performances with Digicell (DJCXL, Ill Semantics and Tommy Stowers) so performing for the people in the islands was an awesome opportunity for the team.
We have gotta make special mention to MTC’s Tyree. He basically had come off tour with Basshunter around the country, flew back into Auckland the day of the shoot and straight into filming… True soldier…
Mad shout outs to all our dancers at the shoot and of course J & Erakah…
If ya feeling the track – FREETEXT ‘JWILL’ to 5483 and grab the remix.
Junipah – ‘Love Your Ways’
(Directed & produced by 7 media’s – Marcus Ringrose)
Check out Illegal Musik’s Rock Band – ‘JUNIPAH’… These guys have been putting in the hard yards over the years and have built a strong following of supporters.
If you can get onto Vodafone Live search out Junipah ‘Love Your Ways’. If you’re on Telecom, jump up on T-World and search them out…
In the works
In the works we have the nu joynt from DJCXL which could be released either this side of Christmas or in the New Year…
Will update the Events calendar where you can catch all our artists performing this SUMMER… Behind the scenes both J and Erakah are changing up their live performances – so if you get the chance to check them out live definitely pop along… All round niceness right thurrr…
Check out the recent interview with Erakah on New Zealand’s music channel C4. There’s also a live performance of Infatuated at the end of the clip!
Yesterday we shot a video for J Williams and one for Illegal rockers Junipah. It was a hectic day for all involved! Thanks to the teams for putting in a great effort and to the two Directors, Ivan Slavov (J Williams) and Marcus Ringrose (Junipah). Can’t wait to see the finished product(s)!
What’s good people…
Illegal Musik are proud to announce the debut of Erakah’s second single Wonderful, which is set to hit every screen from today onwards.
With production duties from rising muso DLOVE and Illegal Musik’s NOX; keep an ear and eye out and hit up your favourite stations to get it pumping…
The track is available for purchase from all good ‘online’ music stores… Vodafone, Telecom, iTunes, Digirama and Amplifier.
Enjoy…

To coincide with the launch of the movie FAME, Hollywood enlisted the help of Sidhe Interactive (NZ’s own) – to develop the FAME GAME for owners of iPhones/ iPod touches. The developers approached Illegal Musik to put forward a track for the game and J.Williams’ Set It Off was the perfect fit.
Wherever the game is sold throughout the world, the single will also be available through iTunes…
Holla at ya friends and families around the world to get them some good musik…

Hey Guys
Hope all is good with you all – in an effort to keep everyone up to date with what’s happening here at Illegal Musik here’s the 411.
We’ve been busy hitting the Australian cities promoting J.Williams and his flavour of music to them. It’s been a lot of fun and hard work but we are still a long way off… The support from ex-pats has been phenomenal so we are thankful we have a strong base to start from and win their hearts… It’s definitely going to be a challenge, no one said life was going to be easy – so we’ll definitely put everything into it.
We’ve got plenty of shows coming up over the next few months around NZ and back across the Tasman.
Stand With You feat the talented Lavina Williams went Gold this week – making it J’s second Gold from the album Young Love… Big thanks to everyone copping that track…Means a lot to everyone…
Real Groove’s Kerry Buchanan gave a great review of “Young Love”.
“His voice is nice and modern in a Chris Brown style, but not imitative; he has his own way, heard best on Stand with You and Flavour…”
Check it out here.
