DJCXL’s “My Love” is available from Vodafone for only $1.50 this week – grab it now!

Illegal Musik’s first video for 2010 is DJCXL’s My Love featuring J Williams and The Gift. The video was produced by our boys at Pixelati.

The concept for the video was basically the creation of the track, done simply, with a minimalist but polished approach. The goal for the video was to introduce DJCXL as an artist. The team at Illegal Musik are rapt with the outcome – listen out for the track and request it on all good music stations. And if you’re feeling the vibe you can cop the track from all good online music stores (iTunes etc…)

Expect more heat to drop from CXL over the next few months with his highly anticipated debut album dropping in the 3rd quarter of 2010.

Our boi J has also dropped his new single featuring multi-platinum artist Scribe… ‘You Got Me’… It’s creating alot of heat in its first week, on iTunes it’s got the no.3 position on the charts… Big ups to those out there supporting some good isssh.

The video is being filmed over the weekend – what we can say is EXPECT THE UNEXPECTED…NOTHING VENTURED NOTHING GAINED…

BaseFM held a Hip Hop versus Drum & Bass soundclash at 420 and DJCXL and MC Bling (aka Imagine This) went along and held it down for Hip Hop.

This video shows the process of rehearsing and performing the set live and on radio; CXL scratches and mixes his way through the set while MC Bling freestyles and MCs off the cuff.
