What’s good famz… It’s been a pretty hectic last few months for the team and is sure to only get more crazy. The latest cuts from the team J.Williams & Dane Rumble collaboration ‘Takes Me Higher’ and Erakah’s new joynt ‘Day & Night’ featuring BeatKamp Musik’s JR… Both tracks are available from all good online stores and if your on Vodafone FREETEXT JWILLIAMS or ERAKAH to 5483 to cop the singles.

On the live circuit the amazing B.O.B has been added to the Winter Jam Tour in July. Auckland 15th July, Wellington 16th July and Christchurch on the 17th July. It doesn’t get any better than this. B.O.B currently have the no.1 single in the country featuring Paramore’s Hayley Williams.

The concerts will be huge New Zealand’s leading acts Dane Rumble, Ivy Lies and Kidz in Space.

Illegal Musik will be bringing the heat with J.Williams & the BS DANCE CREW, Erakah & her fine dancers, K.ONE, Patriarch and the amazing DJCXL…

Make sure you get out and cop ya tickets soon as the event will sell out – and grab both new singles from the team that are bound to get ya body moving.

It’s been a while since you last heard from Erakah. She’s been working tirelessly on her debut album which is coming along very nicely…

The latest single is pure heat, with super-producer NOX working magic to complement Erakah’s mind blowing vocals… but it wouldn’t be complete without the right MC on it.

Enter: BeatKamp Musik’s ill-spitting MC JR to lay fire across it.

The video shoot was shot a few weeks back with our boi Liam Williams (who’s worked on the likes of Bjork & Massive Attack)… Still a few weeks to go with editing and then into post-production.

Gotta send some love out to the mad team behind the scenes: EJ Strickzin/ Leo & Kylie on Styling and Make-Up…

The latest installment from J is a collaboration with one of the country’s top male artists Dane Rumble, on the track ‘Takes Me Higher’.

Getting both artists in the studio and working together is pretty much impossible with their demanding schedules. But we managed to pull it off – big thanks to Dane and J for working around the clock on this one.

Also props to the musical genius NOX who found a way to bring both styles together seamlessly.

The single should be available for purchase from today onwards on all good online music stores. And I think iTunes have the JUMP-OFF so if you’ve got a credit card get busy – if not, ask ya folks nicely for theirs haha. Mobiles should have it up and running by the end of the week (if not drop us a note on our facebook page and we’ll do our best to get it up)…
